TARPON

Giant tarpon, like the one pictured here, will be caught from April through June. These fish average over 80-pounds and are caught on 20-pound spinning gear. Fighting time ranges from half an hour to two hours. This "GUARANTEE TRIP" LAND A FISH OR NO PAY".

2 AM Guaranteed Tarpon Trips

“Tarpon feed at Night” They feed on crabs! It’s you me and the fish.

At dawn the fish move. It’s the best Tarpon fishing there is. It’s the only reason I live in the Florida Keys.

We use 20lb. spin tackle, and hit ’em with a one million watt spotlight when we hookup. They tow the boat around. Most all fish are between 80lbs. and 120lbs. Season is April through June.

Dear Angler’s,

The honest truth from my heart! For the last 20 years I have been in an amazing Tarpon fishery. I learned from the old masters. I want to share that with you. How we make it happen:

Tarpon feed at night!  Shrimp – Crabs – Pinfish. We will have the fishing to ourselves at 2 a.m.

  • I have never used a Mullet for bait, live or dead

  • I do not anchor and wait, except to fish certain spots

  • We will drift with you holding the rod – two anglers only

  • Most every night its 4 to 12 bites (April through June).

This trip leaves the dock at 2 a.m. sharp. I’ll pick you up at 1:30 a.m. for   coffee. I’ll make the effort, if you will!

I guarantee we land a Tarpon or you don’t pay.

BONEFISH

Bonefish caught by my clients averaged 7 pounds, several lunkers tipped the scales at over 14 pounds. One went a little over 15 pounds and all these trophies were released to be caught again. Bonefish are caught all year.

PERMIT

Permit are caught from February through November and range between 15 and 45 pounds. Pound for pound, the permit is one of the toughest fights you'll ever encounter.
